My favorite song at the moment is by The Killers, Track 8. I've loved the whole CD for a long time now but the lyrics of this song have really hit home these days. It's funny how you can hear the same thing over and over again but it takes an event or special time in your life for there to be any meaning behind the words - much like a mother's advice or a teacher's lesson. I hope all the people in my life know that at the time they are trying to tell me something, it may seem as though I am not listening, but eventually the wisdom will sink in.

Back to the song - I love it because the chorus is exactly what I want to say to everything - God, prospective opportunities, a guy - to save myself the trouble of heartache.
