Two Bodies, One Soul

My one true love is my beautiful black cat, Nea.

Sometimes, I wonder if God photocopied my personality traits and moods, stirred in a little fur and four little paws and POOF... out came this little creature, who is a mirror image (personality-wise of course) of me. How was I lucky enough to find her? Or was that in God's hands as well?? Wow, the mysteries never end.... the chicken or the egg? I've got to stop pondering these things, don't I have the whole world hunger issue to deal with that is much more important?

How my cat and I are eerily alike:

1) She freaks when she sees herself in a mirror.

2) She enjoys sleeping on her back, all stretched out with her paws up.

3) When she knows she is looking absolutely adorable, she glances around the room to make sure SOMEONE is noticing her adorable existence.

4) She is a picky eater - definitely doesn't eat just anything tossed her direction - and just because she liked something yesterday does NOT in ANY WAY mean she likes it today.

5) Same goes for games played - something that entertained her yesterday does not infer that the same activity will be enjoyed tomorrow.

6) Sometimes she's chipper in the morning; more often than not, she refuses to budge from her cozy spot entangled in the blankets and pillows on the bed.

7) Enjoys being pet and brushed immensely (on her terms) and when she is being doted on, she shows her appreciation loudly.

8) Talks (meows) for absolutely no reason and stares at me incredulously as if to suggest that what she has just said makes perfect sense and can't understand why I am not answering back.

9) A significant part of her day is spent grooming herself, but she looks the same no matter how much time she spends trying to smooth down her mane.

10) At any given time, she may attack a moving object.
